How To Get ASL Kids – Sign Language

Learn American Sign Language (ASL) with fun videos of real kids signing!

This sign language app for kids helps babies, toddlers and beginners learn ASL signs, baby sign language, and the ASL alphabet in a playful way. Children watch other kids demonstrate signs and learn by imitation – the most natural way to learn.

Perfect for families who want to learn sign language together.

Why this ASL app for kids?

When we discovered our son was deaf, our whole family wanted to learn sign language. We quickly realized that most sign language apps were designed for adults, not children.

Kids learn best by watching and copying other kids. That inspired us to create an ASL learning app for children that is simple, visual and fun.

Our young ASL coaches (ages 1–12) demonstrate signs clearly so children can easily follow along.

Learn Sign Language the Fun Way

Children explore a growing ASL dictionary with clear visuals and real videos of kids signing. Every sign includes a large image and optional audio to help support speech development and listening skills.

Kids can also practice with fun quiz games that help reinforce what they learned.

This makes learning sign language for kids interactive and engaging.

This app is pretty cute and I appreciate the simplicity in many ways. No account creation, no walkthrough, no self-promo, it just drops you right into the app and you can start learning right away. I also love that they use real videos of real people, not 3D models or AI-gen garbage. You can easily pay $2 once to go ad-free. I would like to see guided practice though - select a category and go through learning multiple signs without having to click into each one individually.

So frustrating I paid for the upgrade for the more words. I used it twice went to use it again and all the words I paid for are gone. The only thing there are the free ones which is more like a sample. It would be nice if they had a ton of words. They have about 100ish when u paid which seems like a lot but not if ur trying to learn sign language as a whole. I really love the lay out which is nice and engaging for my 5yo that has some hearing lost, but with this happening it seems pointless!

dont pay for the extra signs. I thought this app was going to help us learn sign but you can't really do much with the minimal amount of signing you pay for. it isn't really very user friendly either. nothing is categorized by type. to open a sign you must click on the word then push play and then to get back to the sign list you have to push another button making it monotonous. wish there was a refund option
